About Us
The purpose of the Auckland Organ Association Inc (AOA) is to
foster and promote an appreciation, understanding and interest in organs,
organ building, organ music, in the Auckland and surrounding regions of New Zealand.
At the Auckland Organ Association we

encourage young people and others to learn to play the organ

encourage organ scholars to enter formal study

arrange workshops and activities where ideas are exchanged, there is mutual support and everyone enjoys the fellowship of those interested in the organ and organ music
-
support all organists in their craft, whether they are amateur, church or concert level, and provide opportunities to enhance their skills

promote solo recitals or concerts by local and visiting artists incorporating the use of the organ
-
act as the custodians of organs and organ music by referring experts to churches, schools and other institutions that have a need for it
