NZOA Congress 2018

Queen's Birthday Weekend 1-4 June 2018

A weekend for organ enthusiasts - listeners, players, and engineers alike!

Our guest recitalist will be Peter Wright, Director of Music at Southwark Cathedral, London.
Peter has had an illustrious career as organist and conductor, and has toured extensively worldwide as solo recitalist, with orchestras and with choirs. He has been President and Chief Examiner for the Royal College of Organists and is now a Vice President.  He was awarded with a Fellowship of the RSCM in 2011.

The congress will be based at Holy Trinity Cathedral, but with visits to other venues. We know there is much interest in the two significant organ projects there, as well as the Town Hall organ, and we are building in opportunities for you to not only see but also play them all.  With this in mind, plan on staying in Auckland for the Monday afternoon!  There will be plenty for non-organists in the weekend too.

The weekend's programme is in the process of being finalised - further details including registration forms will be published here in due course.
